Job Title: Network Architect

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to design, implement, monitor, and manage our local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), ensuring high availability and performance of all critical business applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, extensive knowledge of network hardware and software, and a proactive attitude toward network security and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN)
  • Configure and install software, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices
  • Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, outages, and bottlenecks
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations
  • Collaborate with network architects to optimize system performance
  • Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access
  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement fixes
  • Document network problems and resolutions for future reference
  • Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Requirements:Education & Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA) preferred
Experience:
  • [2–5+] years of proven experience in a network engineering role
  • Hands-on experience with network administration, configuration, and troubleshooting
Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS, TCP/IP)
  • Experience with firewall configurations (e.g., Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto)
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG)
  • Understanding of network security principles and practices
  • Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus
  • Cloud networking experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Working Conditions:
  • On-site work with occasional travel to remote offices or data centers
  • May require after-hours or weekend work for maintenance and emergency troubleshooting
