Expand and optimize our big data pipeline by working as a data engineer.

About the Role:
  • You will collaborate with big data solution architects to design, implement, and optimize data ingestion pipelines.
  • Develop ETL/ELT ingestion pipelines and analytics solutions using cloud and on-premises technologies.
  • Ensure that your design, code, and procedures meet operational, security, and compliance standards.
  • Participate in daily project delivery status meetings and provide technical support for issue resolution.
What We Need:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience performing data engineering, warehousing, publishing, and visualization.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Azure Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in data profiling, cataloguing, and mapping.
  • Ability to define ELT/ETL architecture and process design.
  • Experience implementing data warehousing analytics solutions.
  • Working knowledge of Azure.
  • Skills in creating data pipelines using ETL tools like Airflow, ADF.
  • Understanding of distributing computing technologies like Apache Spark, Databricks.
  • Knowledge of stream-processing systems like Spark Streaming, Eventhub.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented and functional programming languages.
  • Ability to write unit and integration tests for ingestion pipelines.
  • Familiarity with static analysis and code quality tools.
  • Understanding of code version control repositories like Git.
  • Knowledge of security best practices.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines & DevOps orchestration tools.
  • Familiarity with Data Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Apache Hudi.
