Job Description: As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software applications. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, reviewing test cases, scripts, plans and procedures to ensure compliance with standards, managing and coordinating software development activities, including requirement analysis and QA of applications.

About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced automation testing specialist who can provide expert guidance on business & quality parameters in project teams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle, estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities to achieve successful outcomes, take initiative to learn new things, share findings effectively and contribute to growth through constant exposure to innovative ideas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate software development activities, including requirement analysis and QA of applications.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using diverse tools (Selenium, Java, TestNG, Jenkins, Maven etc.) for regression and performance testing of various application releases.
  • Review test cases, scripts, plans and procedures to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or relevant field.
  • 3-8 years of experience in Automation testing with expertise in Selenium, Cucumber, JAVA etc.
  • Proficient in frameworks for automation like Junit, TestNG, Xunit, CodedUI, SpecFlow, Pyunit or custom frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing techniques.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL, scripting and design patterns.
  • Expertise in multi-threaded systems, automated unit testing and cloud technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Sound experience/knowledge of Web Service API/Rest API.
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies, including SCRUM.
  • Excellent verbal and written English Communication skills and Problem-Solving abilities.
