Accounting Trainee Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Trainee to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent knowledge of bookkeeping, payable management, and receivables management. A strong understanding of financial reporting and payroll processing is also essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Payable Management: Manage and process invoices, ensure timely payment to suppliers, and maintain effective relationships with vendors.
  • Receivables Management: Oversee the collection of payments from customers, monitor outstanding balances, and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Payroll Processing: Handle employee salaries, benefits, and taxes in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • AACCA finalist-qualified or equivalent certification
  • 0-1 year of experience in accounting or related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to build relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Business acumen, with ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions
  • Passion for learning and growth, with willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities
