About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Tax Professional to fill this position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in taxation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely compliance with evolving tax regulations.
  • Stay current with tax laws and regulations, providing clients with up-to-date guidance and advice on tax matters.
  • Assist clients in understanding and meeting tax and compliance requirements, minimizing the risk of penalties and fines.
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies, policies, and procedures for clients.
  • Execute tax registrations, returns, and refunds, ensuring submission in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the tax team to respond to tax authority requirements and inquiries.
  • Proactively interact with clients to address tax-related concerns, provide tax advisory services, and ensure compliance with legislative changes.
  • Maintain accurate client account records and support clients in meeting their tax obligations.
  • Prepare various tax returns for individuals and small businesses, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax codes to maximize benefits.
  • Advise clients on potential tax deductions, credits, and registration thresholds to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Review and analyze tax returns, conduct client interviews, and oversee the work of team members for accurate tax compliance.
  • Calculate taxes owed by meticulously following tax regulations and guidelines.
  • Verify and reconcile tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and resolve client queries promptly.
  • Provide expert tax advice, address client complaints professionally, and recommend suitable financial products.
  • Maintain accurate financial trackers, prepare weekly/monthly reports, and ensure organized, up-to-date systems for management review.

Requirements:

  • ACCA/ CA / CPA / CMA qualified or pursuing.
  • Proficient in tax computations and VAT.
  • 3-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an accounting firm.
  • Excellent knowledge of Accounting standards.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Quality standards, quality assurance policy, and procedure.
  • Proficient in English.
