Job Title: Senior Teaching Fellow - Pharmaceutical ChemistryOverview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Teaching Fellow to join our department as a key member of our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students, contributing to the development of curriculum and assessment strategies, and engaging in scholarly activities to enhance their professional practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Teaching and Learning: Design and deliver innovative teaching sessions that promote student engagement and meet learning outcomes.
  2. Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development of new curricula and assessment strategies to ensure academic excellence.
  3. Student Support: Provide guidance and support to students through mentoring, coaching, and feedback.
  4. Research and Scholarship: Engage in research and scholarship activities to enhance teaching practices and contribute to the field of pharmaceutical chemistry.
  5. Departmental Contributions: Participate in departmental committees and contribute to decision-making processes.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry or related field.
  • Significant experience in teaching and learning, preferably at a higher education institution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
