We are looking for a highly skilled technical professional to join our team as a Financial Programmer. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about data analysis and visualization, and has a strong background in Python programming.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing advanced portfolio analytical tools to support investment decision-making and monitoring. They will work closely with our investment management team to design and implement these tools, which will involve automating the integration of Bloomberg AIM trades into our investment management dashboard using Python or SQL, and designing and implementing ETL processes for investment management data into SQL or an agreed data repository.
Key responsibilities will include creating robust and scalable queries and scripts in Python or SQL to replicate and enhance trade detail updates and generate analytical reports, migrating existing reports and data sources currently used in our investment management dashboard to Bloomberg or alternative centralized databases, supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and preparing comprehensive workflow and process documentation for management system modules used by our investment management team.
We require the selected candidate to produce templates and research outputs for periodic performance reporting and analytics, develop detailed user manuals for all developed tools and reports, and conduct training sessions for end-users. Additionally, they will contribute to additional investment portfolio analysis tasks, particularly those focused on process automation, data integrity, and efficient data management.
