**Postdoctoral Research Opportunity**

Lahore University of Management Sciences' Laboratory of Advanced Membranes and Separations invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position. This one-year contract, renewable depending on performance, offers a unique chance to contribute to transformative membrane-based cooling innovations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing and developing polymeric membranes with tailored surface properties.
• Conducting comprehensive membrane characterization using advanced techniques.
• Performing lab-scale tests to evaluate membrane performance.
• Disseminating research findings through publications, presentations, and patent drafts.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered, candidates must possess:

• A PhD in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Experience in membrane fabrication, particularly thin-film composite membranes and surface functionalization.
• Strong expertise in membrane characterization techniques and understanding of structure-property relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based research environment.
