Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Support Specialist to join our team. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments for patients and ensure timely follow-ups, maintaining accurate records and adhering to relevant regulations.
  • Greet patients warmly and make them feel comfortable throughout their visit, obtaining necessary patient information from referral sources to initiate registration.
  • Process patients check-in and check-out efficiently, collect and process payments effectively, and communicate test results to patients as needed.
  • Respond promptly to phone calls and emails, ensuring the reception area remains clean and organized at all times.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry, perform phlebotomy procedures including blood sample collection, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Possess technical skills to draw blood and utilize laboratory equipment effectively.
  • Demonstrate professional and empathetic interaction with patients, exercise attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping, and have knowledge of laboratory procedures and protocols.
  • Show ability to work well under pressure, exhibit strong communication and problem-solving skills, and demonstrate strong multitasking and prioritizing abilities.
