Project Coordinators play a vital role in overseeing the implementation of operational elements of livelihoods programs. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Socio-Economic Inclusion project in KP province, based in District Peshawar.

Job Overview
  • The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overall field implementation, coordination, and monitoring of the project.

In this role, you will provide technical oversight to district stakeholders, donors, government, and our country office. You will also establish and oversee program delivery mechanisms at each targeted area.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure effective planning for project activities, including timely beneficiary registration, communal needs assessments, and development beneficiary engagement plans.
  2. Implement the livelihoods programme and related interventions at the community level efficiently and effectively.
  3. Liaise with key stakeholders who can contribute to broadening and deepening the outcomes of the project.
  4. Conduct field visits to assess the quality of field implementation of program activities and take corrective measures where necessary.

You will develop strategic and innovative solutions for building more efficient, coordinated, and reliable livelihood programmes. This includes developing training material, community-level trainings, and delivering capacity-building trainings in communities.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • A university degree in Disaster Risk Management, social sciences, or management sciences or any other related field is required.
  • At least 5 years' experience working on FSL and socio-economic inclusion projects, preferably with UN agencies.
  • Mandatory 1-2 years of project/team management experience.
  • Experience in providing administrative and logistical support and organizing workshops.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages (MS Word, Excel, Access etc.) and experience in handling web-based applications.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Demonstrated experience in working in complex working environments.
  • Ability to communicate in local languages.
  • Excellent diplomacy, tact, and administrative skills to work with people at managerial and occasionally, senior government levels.

We have a zero-tolerance policy towards Sexual Exploitation and Abuse of staff as well as beneficiaries. Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) is everyone's responsibility.
