DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us build, maintain, and optimize our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). They will also build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment, configure and optimize containerized applications using Docker and container orchestration tools, and implement serverless architectures leveraging AWS Lambda and related services.

In addition, they will design and maintain queue systems for asynchronous processing using SQS, SNS, RabbitMQ, or Kinesis, monitor system performance, and implement automated scaling solutions. They will also create and maintain performance dashboards and KPIs to track system health and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have expert-level Linux administration skills, including shell scripting, system optimization, and troubleshooting. They will also have strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, security best practices, API Gateway, ECS/EKS for container orchestration, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
  • Configure and optimize containerized applications using Docker and container orchestration tools
  • Implement serverless architectures leveraging AWS Lambda and related services
  • Design and maintain queue systems for asynchronous processing
  • Monitor system performance and implement automated scaling solutions
  • Create and maintain performance dashboards and KPIs
  • Ensure infrastructure security through implementation of AWS security best practices
Requirements and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of professional experience in DevOps roles with AWS focus, expert-level Linux administration skills, and strong knowledge of AWS services. They will also have experience with Docker container technologies and image optimization, hands-on experience implementing messaging and queue systems, and proficiency in creating performance monitoring dashboards and defining relevant KPIs.

AWS certifications are strongly preferred, as well as experience with microservices architecture, knowledge of Kubernetes, and experience with infrastructure security scanning and compliance tools. Familiarity with database systems is also beneficial.
