Mortgage Finance Specialist


Job Description:

The position is responsible for identifying and acquiring new customers through a solution-based approach that addresses their business lending needs, specifically home finance. The goal is to enhance revenue growth, identify opportunities, and provide value-added solutions for long-term sustainable development.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist clients in navigating the mortgage application process by providing expert advice on home finance options and financial products.
  2. Utilize strong communication and analytical skills, along with a thorough understanding of mortgage regulations and market trends.
  3. Evaluate and recommend approval of commercial and residential real estate finance.
  4. Advise borrowers on financial status and payment methods.
  5. Meet with prospective customers to gather information for loan applications, perform needs-based analysis, and answer questions about the process.
  6. Analyze applicants' financial status, creditworthiness, and property value to determine loan feasibility.
  7. Explain different product options, terms, and features with an emphasis on home finance.
  8. Achieve business objectives by meeting sales budgets.
  9. Onboard secured asset commercial bookings as per scorecard requirements.
  10. Ensure compliance with group policies, local laws, regulations, and bank controls.
  11. Adhere to the Group code of Conduct and report irregular activities.
  12. Maintain good behavior and integrity with customers and stakeholders.
  13. Understand and follow all contractual terms and agreements.
  14. Stay informed on Anti-Money Laundering, Customer Due Diligence policies, and compliance frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  2. Strong sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  3. Deep knowledge of home finance products and services.
  4. Effective negotiation skills.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Hands-on experience in mortgage lending or related financial services.
