This role requires strong technical skills, including proficiency in basic serology skills like blood group ABO and Rh testing, weak D testing, and DAT. The candidate should also be able to perform cross-match by tube method and blood grouping and cross-match on automation. Furthermore, they should have intermediate serology skills, including allo-antibody screening, antibody identification, phenotyping, and resolution of ABO discrepancies.
