As a relationship professional, you play a pivotal role in fostering meaningful connections between the bank and its customers. You will serve as a dedicated point of contact for personalized assistance and guidance, helping clients navigate financial products and address concerns with tailored solutions to enhance their banking experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop sales strategies to achieve growth objectives by collaborating with branch managers to agree on micro-level plans.
  • Sell financial products by establishing customer relationships according to defined policies.
  • Achieve sales targets/objectives in assigned areas with best ethics and moral practices following standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure target achievement through genuine sales, avoiding coercive lending practices.
  • Make business profitable through loans sales and customer enhancement following bank guidelines.
  • Market company financial products and develop strategies for this purpose.
  • Develop persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Identify business opportunities by evaluating prospects and industry positions.
  • Evaluate customer profiles using credit evaluation criteria.
  • Disseminate product terms and conditions to customers.
  • Conduct physical verification of prospective clients to ensure on-track performance.
  • Collect, review, and repay loans through proactive communication with clients and ensuring 100% collections following bank SOPs.
  • Handle customer legal documents carefully to avoid misuse.
  • Guide customers to deposit loan repayments at designated collection points.
  • Avoid cash handling for any customers while performing relationship officer functions.
  • Prepare weekly activity planners and track deviations in consultation with line managers.
  • Hold regular meetings with customers as per defined product programs.
  • Conduct loan bookings in strict compliance with bank policies, procedures, ethics, and standards.
  • Review and recommend areas for improvement regarding product knowledge through client feedback.
  • Conduct market research to identify new selling possibilities and assess existing markets for final decisions in consultation with line managers.
  • Meet internal service standards and ensure no service-related complaints are received from customers by following fair treatment of customer policies.
  • Develop and sustain long-lasting relationships between the bank and customers.
  • Report cases of potential fraud or loss to line managers/head office departments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution (MBA preferred).
  • 0-1 years' experience in a related field (preferable).
