WordPress Web Developer

Job Description

A skilled WordPress web developer is required to build and maintain fully responsive, visually consistent, and high-performing WordPress websites from scratch using Elementor, Divi, and Go High Level (GHL).

The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in front-end development, working knowledge of CSS for basic customizations, and experience managing plugins and troubleshooting website issues.

  • Core Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop fully responsive, visually consistent, and high-performing WordPress websites based on finalized copy, Figma files, and client notes.
  • Select emotionally appropriate imagery that aligns with the client's tone and audience.
  • Manage regular tickets, debugging, errors, etc.
  • Build high-converting landing pages in Go High Level (GHL) for campaigns, funnels, and A/B testing.
  • Apply on-page SEO best practices such as proper header structure, image optimization, and page speed improvements.

This role requires extensive, proven experience with GHL building full funnels, automations, and campaign flows. Excellent communication in written English is essential.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience building websites in WordPress.
  • Excellent communication in written English.
  • Experience working with Figma.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Go High Level.
  • Working knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, or the Divi theme.

Comfortable working within templates, capable of designing custom sections to meet new client needs, and understanding of on-page SEO including header structure, image optimization, and site performance are also necessary.
