Medical Biller

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Billing Specialist to perform various duties including electronic billing, data entry, and communication with insurance carriers.

• Electronic billing of third-party patient claims.
• Data entry of payments received from third-party payers.
• Processing rejections and posting insurance payments.

• 3+ years' experience in medical billing.
• Prior healthcare-related billing experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

• Timely and accurate data entry.
• Timely processing of rejected claims.
• Ability to work with EOB or EOP CPT AND ICD 10.
• Reconcile daily cash receipts from insurance carriers.
• Enter pertinent patient information/details in the database completely and accurately.
• Use problem-solving skills to follow up on commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid denials.
