Job Overview

A global leader in materials science and digital identification solutions is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the field service operation, you will be responsible for providing expert installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance services to ensure seamless system performance.

Responsibilities
  • Installation & System Integration:
    1. Install advanced systems and equipment, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications and quality standards.
    2. Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions for high-end or complex customer requirements.
    3. Configure, calibrate, and operationalize systems upon installation or upgrade.
    4. Provide training on equipment use, maintenance, and safety procedures to clients.
  • Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution:
    1. Diagnose and troubleshoot critical or highly technical equipment failures using diagnostic tools, RPA or Ticketing system-based data, and AI-powered platforms.
    2. Resolve escalated customer issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
    3. Analyze data and predictive maintenance tools to identify underlying causes of recurring issues and address them proactively.
  • Proactive Maintenance & Performance Optimization:
    1. Develop predictive maintenance programs by analyzing data to anticipate and prevent equipment failures before they occur.
    2. Work closely with customers to develop and execute proactive service plans, ensuring systems and equipment are continually optimized for peak performance.
    3. Conduct site surveys and audits to assess equipment conditions, recommending upgrades, repairs, or improvements that enhance system longevity and customer ROI.
  • Remote Support & Digital Tools Integration:
    1. Utilize remote monitoring tools, Omnichannel app, and AI-based generated video to provide real-time assistance to teams and/or customers, reducing the need for on-site visits.
    2. Capture service data to create actionable insights for both field service operations and customer satisfaction.
    3. Assist in integrating digital tools into daily operations, ensuring engineers use platforms like digital tools, ticketing systems, mobile apps, omnichannel, and diagnostic tools effectively.
  • Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:
    1. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as a trusted advisor for technical solutions and system optimization.
