Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Communication Strategist to lead our external affairs and drive the organization's reputation forward.

About the Role

  • Develop and Implement Communication Strategy: Develop, oversee, and execute a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the organization's vision, goals, and objectives.
  • Manage External Communications: Foster key relationships with media, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and minimize negative publicity.
  • Monitor and Respond to Media: Continuously monitor news and respond promptly to media inquiries, preparing and approving rebuttals, clarifications, and press releases as needed.
  • Social Media Management: Review, approve, and optimize content posted on social media platforms to maintain consistency and accuracy in messaging.
  • CORporate Social Responsibility (CSR): Identify, evaluate, and recommend CSR initiatives aligned with the organization's vision and potential impact on the community.
  • Revenue Generation: Explore innovative ideas to transform the corporate communication department into a profit center function, driving revenue growth and enhancing organizational performance.
  • Policy Development: Review, approve, and implement policies and processes related to the department, ensuring they are ethical, sustainable, and effective in achieving the department's goals.
  • Customer Complaint Resolution: Ensure timely and efficient resolution of customer complaints received through various channels.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Communicate effectively with government departments, attend meetings, and resolve issues or policy directions.
  • Succession Planning: Identify, develop, and maintain a pool of successors for key positions within the division/department.
  • Learning and Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, encouraging education at all levels within the division/department.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise, guide, and empower the team to achieve departmental objectives.
