Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead UI/UX Designer to join our team. As a Lead UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for crafting user-centered design solutions that delight customers while meeting business objectives and deadlines.

Responsibilities
  1. Craft Experience Solutions: Clearly communicate customer requirements and craft experience solutions that meet business objectives and deadlines.
  2. User Research: Participate in user research activities to gather requirements, including interviews, ethnographic observation, workflow analyses, and contextual inquiry.
  3. Design Communication: Communicate customer requirements through storytelling, interactive prototypes, and detailed visual/functional design specifications.
  4. Design Alternatives: Craft alternative design proposals to validate with customers and internal stakeholders.
  5. Collaboration: Work with Development & Product Management partners to negotiate project scope and ensure customer experience is one of the three core considerations in product planning (Viability, Desirability, Feasibility).
  6. Design Documentation: Deliver design documentation for use by a wide range of audiences, including Software Development, Test Development, Technical Publications, Sales, and Marketing.
  7. Review and Feedback: Review feature implementation, test plans, and documentation to ensure accuracy of desired application results.
  8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead efforts to work collaboratively across teams and orgs to ensure cohesive workflows.
  9. Ecosystem Understanding: Maintain familiarity with other products and competitive products to ensure compatibility with proposed feature sets.
  10. Presentation and Discussion: Lead presentations and discussions with customers, developers, and internal stakeholders to drive resolution on proposed features and functionality.
  11. System Thinking: Look beyond immediate experience challenges to understand how solutions fit into a larger ecosystem, across channels, touchpoints, and platforms.
