As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in the medical imaging process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote teamwork and lead fellow technologists as a Team Leader, assisting and instructing interns to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Analyze physician requests to identify specific imaging requirements for each patient's modality, ensuring accurate and efficient care.
  • Evaluate radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure while maintaining image quality, adhering to strict guidelines.
  • Carry out scanning procedures, including patient consent, preparation, positioning, and meticulous record-keeping to maintain accuracy.
  • Evaluate patient suitability for oral and IV contrast and manage potential reactions with caution.
  • Process radiographs using film processors or computer-generated methods to achieve optimal results.
  • Perform quality control activities, monitor equipment operations, and report malfunctions promptly to prevent disruptions.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and organizing film retrieval with attention to detail.
  • Ensure proper waste management practices and safeguard the radiation badge to maintain a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant education and experience in a reputable healthcare setting.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of (S) degree in Radiology or a related field.
  • Preference given to candidates with at least 2 years' experience in a reputable hospital.
Tasks and Expectations:
  • General administrative duties, including answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure proper filing and retrieval of films with precision.
  • Conduct internal trainings and participate in team meetings to foster collaboration.
  • Take responsible measures to prevent intentional exposure and maintain radiation safety protocols consistently.
