About the Role

We seek a skilled Billing Specialist to serve as our primary point of contact for billing inquiries. Key responsibilities include billing and processing charges, researching outstanding items, generating invoices, preparing itemized invoices, reviewing and validating refunds, supporting vendor operations, and providing feedback to management regarding inaccuracies.

This role demands a thorough understanding of the Quote-to-Cash process, enabling troubleshooting of any issues that may arise.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee account billing status by researching and resolving inconsistencies and errors.
  • Analyze billing documents and data for accuracy and completeness, acquiring missing or corrected data when necessary.
  • Create and customize invoices as needed.
  • Review and validate credits and refunds, issue refunds, address payment disputes and chargebacks.
  • Evaluate the billing process and recommend improvements where applicable.
  • Ensure proper cutoff periods for month-end closing procedures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for billing-related support cases.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports.
  • Support vendor operations and address concerns.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a billing or billing-related role.
  • Independent self-starter who can adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in ambiguous situations, solve problems, and think critically.
