Key Responsibilities:

Daily Cash Handling is a fundamental aspect of this role. Ensuring accurate cash reconciliation at the beginning and end of shifts is crucial to maintaining the integrity of our financial transactions.

  1. Handle cash, credit or check transactions with customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Scan goods and collect payments, verifying that prices are correct before completing the transaction.
  3. Issue change, receipts, refunds, or tickets as necessary, providing excellent customer service in each interaction.
  4. Redeem stamps and coupons, ensuring that customers receive the discounts they are eligible for.
  5. Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to guarantee accuracy and adequate change.
  6. Make sales referrals, cross-sell products, and introduce new ones to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
Customer Service Focus:

The ability to resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information is essential in this role. Building trust and rapport with customers is vital to creating a positive shopping experience.
