Job Title: Beverage Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage and maintain financial records related to beverage distribution. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical and communication skills, and experience working in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records related to production, distribution, and sale of products.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecast future revenues and expenses, and analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations related to product distribution.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, track supply chain logistics, and ensure sufficient inventory to meet demand.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial data to identify trends and patterns, and prepare regular financial reports for stakeholders.
  • Cost Control: Identify opportunities to control costs and improve profitability, while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements

To be successful as a Beverage Accountant, you should possess:

  • Financial Management: A deep understanding of financial management principles, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Attention to Detail: A strong attention to detail, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and tracking inventory levels.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, required to analyze financial data and identify trends and patterns that inform decision-making.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, necessary to communicate financial data and insights to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Industry Knowledge: A good understanding of the beverage industry, particularly in the area of distribution.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive problem-solving skills, able to identify and address financial issues before they become significant problems.
  • Technology Skills: Comfortable using financial and accounting software, as well as other technology tools commonly used in finance and accounting.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and several years of experience working in finance or accounting. Experience in the beverage industry is preferred, particularly in distribution.
