The role of the Ed-tech Lead is pivotal in shaping the future of education. Key responsibilities include planning, designing, and implementing innovative Ed-tech interventions that ensure quality education at scale.

1) Research and Development:
  1. Determine effective partnerships with Ed-tech solutions providers to drive impactful collaborations.
  2. Engage in continuous research into cutting-edge Ed-tech solutions within both international and local contexts.
  3. Evaluate specific needs across various organizational functions where Ed-Tech can add significant value, proposing viable and scalable solutions for the network.
2) Project Execution:
  1. Design, execute, and assess Ed-tech interventions.
  2. Foster collaboration across departments, teams, and school staff to leverage subject matter expertise.
  3. Develop and conduct training programs or workshops/boot camps.
  4. Provide ongoing support and feedback post-solution deployment.
  5. Understand and effectively utilize monitoring and evaluation tools to track project outcomes.
  6. Maintain regular field presence to monitor and evaluate projects.
  7. Prepare comprehensive weekly field updates and monthly field reports.
  8. Evaluate project readiness for large-scale implementation.
  9. Develop resources that enhance effective classroom practices when technology is integrated.
  10. Support other project teams as needed.
  11. Cultivate relationships with vendors and contractual staff to achieve project objectives.
3) Stakeholder Management:
  1. Promote internal and external stakeholder awareness through engaging reports and presentations.
  2. Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to foster transparency and encourage continuous feedback.

This role requires a unique blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills to successfully drive Ed-tech initiatives forward.
