Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement Specialist

Job Summary:

An experienced professional with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience in Oil and Gas, holding an MBA qualification. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the technical aspects of gas sale and purchase agreements and transportation agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agreement Review and Input: Review the technical aspects of Gas Sale and Purchase Agreements and Gas Transportation Agreement, providing input to the supervisor on key matters.
  • Cordination with Exploration and Production Companies: Coordinate with Exploration and Production companies to seek their input, comments, or observations on draft agreements.
  • Internal Coordination: Coordinate with relevant departments within the organization to gather feedback on agreement terms under the guidance of the supervisor.
  • Compliance with Petroleum Policies: Ensure compliance with prevailing petroleum policies, rules, directives, and other regulatory requirements while dealing with Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement matters.
  • Action Item Implementation: Identify changes in draft agreements, implement recommended actions, and monitor the approval process for arrangement acceptance.
  • Team Guidance and Support: Guide team members in responding to clarifications and queries raised by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority and Ministry of Energy.
  • Audit Response and Communication: Respond to government auditor queries regarding GSPA/GTA/Term sheets implementation in close liaison with relevant sections.
  • Progress Updates and Reporting: Prepare updates for senior management on action points regarding progress achieved in GSPA/GTA/Term sheets.
  • Additional Tasks and Support: Perform any additional tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of experience in Oil and Gas, with a strong understanding of technical agreements and regulations.
