  • The Chief Strategic Initiatives & Corporate Affairs officer will lead key projects, supporting the bank's growth and competitive positioning. This role oversees corporate affairs, including stakeholder engagement with JazzCash (JC), and aids the transformation to Islamic banking.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO, ensuring alignment across internal departments for project execution.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify growth opportunities, operational efficiencies, and innovative solutions.
  • Monitor progress of strategic projects, ensuring timely delivery and business objectives alignment.
  • Lead coordination with JazzCash (JC) and VEON on corporate affairs.
  • Ensure legal compliance of partnership contracts and monitor ongoing obligations.
  • Liaise with Shariah advisors and ensure alignment with Islamic finance principles.
  • Provide regular strategic reports, insights, and recommendations to the executive management and board.

Requirements:

  • MBA, LLB/LLM or relevant advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 10+ years' experience in strategic management or corporate affairs, ideally within banking or financial services.

Skills:

  • Strategic planning and project management.
  • Strong legal and regulatory acumen.
  • Deep understanding of Islamic finance and transformation frameworks.
