HR Business Strategist

This position requires a unique blend of network engineering, network operations, and software understanding. You will deliver operational discipline by embracing key principles including automation, agile development, and scripting.

You will work with the reliability engineering organization to build and maintain a global network infrastructure. We need someone with an understanding of carrier-class network infrastructure and experience working in fast-paced development environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in Layer 3 routing (BGP, IS-IS, etc) and Layer 2 switching (802.1Q, STP, etc)
  • Experience with virtual networking concepts such as EVPN, VXLAN, Open vSwitch
  • Automation tools expertise (Ansible, Terraform, etc)
  • Proficiency in Python scripting (or equivalent language), Ansible, Terraform
  • Strong Linux systems and tools experience
  • Virtual routing experience in Linux with FRR or similar software preferred
  • AWS experience preferred
  • Monitoring, alert response, and issue resolution experience
  • 24x7x365 on-call rotation participation
  • Basic understanding of software development tools (Github, Jenkins, etc) and practices
  • High-level network design understanding and its impacts across infrastructure

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of operations and engineering experience
  • 3+ years of network engineering in large-scale data center environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent training) preferred
  • International program and project experience
  • Fast-moving environment adaptability
  • Multiple projects balancing ability
  • Hands-on, passionate, persistent, creative, and results-driven individual
