Job Title: Sr Manager Security Operations Center

As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization's SIM (Security Information and Event Management) system, ensuring it effectively collects, analyzes, and reports on security-related events. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and maintaining correlation rules to detect and flag potential security threats, as well as creating and updating reports and dashboards to provide valuable insights into our security posture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • SIEM System Management: Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of our SIEM solution to ensure seamless collection, analysis, and reporting of security-related data.
  • Correlation Rules and Reporting: Develop and maintain complex correlation rules to identify potential security threats and create detailed reports and dashboards to inform our security posture.
  • ELK Stack Integration: Design, implement, and manage ELK Stack components, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats, to enhance log collection and analysis capabilities.
  • Data Retention and Security: Ensure compliance with data retention, backup, and security policies, safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining the integrity of our systems.
  • Log Collection and Analysis: Work closely with teams to onboard new data sources, define log collection requirements, and optimize indexing and search performance through tuning and scaling strategies.
  • Incident Response: Support incident response efforts by leveraging the SIEM to identify, analyze, and respond to security incidents, minimizing their impact on our business.
