Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage and edit all content related to our publications, products, and online presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality content across various formats, including websites, press releases, product descriptions, marketing materials, articles, and supplements.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Develop, write, edit, and finalise content for publications, websites, press releases, product descriptions, marketing materials, articles, and supplements.
  • Publication Review Process: Manage the publication review process to ensure timely and accurate content delivery.
  • Content Database Management: Oversee the content writing database to maintain up-to-date information and track contributions.
  • Content Planning and Proofreading: Plan, revise, and proofread all content for accuracy, grammar, and other issues.
  • Idea Generation: Develop new ideas for content and propose them to the editorial team.
  • Social Media and SEO: Utilise social media and search engine optimisation to increase visibility of articles.
  • Contributor Coordination: Coordinate with contributors to obtain content for publications and follow up on assigned tasks.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the editor and editor-in-chief as needed, and assist with other reasonable tasks.
  • AUTHOR RELATIONS: Correspond with authors regarding published or proposed material.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Content Writing Experience: Proven experience in content writing for various formats, including website content, publications, blog posts, articles, press releases, product descriptions, and reviews.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Writing and Editing Experience: Demonstrated experience in writing and editing, with a strong grasp of grammar and language mechanics.
  • English Language Proficiency: Excellent English language proficiency, with a strong attention to detail and grammatical accuracy.
  • Concentration and Attention to Detail: Ability to concentrate and maintain attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all work.
  • Negotiation and Diplomacy: Tact and diplomacy when negotiating changes with authors.
Internal Relationships
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team and other departments to manage content effectively.
  • Professional Relationships: Maintain professional internal and external relationships that align with core values.
  • Effective Teamwork: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all support departments.
