Job Summary

About the Role

This is a comprehensive IT role that requires technical expertise in various areas, including hardware, software, and network support. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT fundamentals and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Provide timely assistance with hardware, software, and network-related issues to ensure prompt resolution and optimal system performance.
  • System Installation and Maintenance: Configure, install, and maintain computer systems, servers, and software applications, adhering to industry best practices and standards.
  • Coding Solutions and Automation: Develop and implement coding solutions for automation, system integration, and software development projects, staying current with emerging technologies and coding practices.
  • System Upgrades and Monitoring: Plan, execute, and document system upgrades, migrations, and patches, continuously monitoring system performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • User Management and Documentation: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls, creating and maintaining accurate technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Emerging Technologies and Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology, contributing innovative ideas and solutions to drive business success.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • IT Fundamentals: Solid understanding of hardware, software, networks, and operating systems.
  • Software Development Methodologies: Familiarity with software development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and end-users.
  • System Administration: Knowledge of system administration tasks and experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Database Management: Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL, MySQL) is highly desirable.
