The Qualcomm Snapdragon LLVM ARM team is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to join their fast-paced development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the development infrastructure for the LLVM CPU team and collaborating with ARM compiler toolchain developers to validate their changes.

This role requires a strong background in software engineering, including experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have expertise in automation tools, build systems, and testing frameworks.

As a key member of the team, the selected candidate will help set up and maintain the development environment, ensure smooth execution of builds and tests, and provide support for the release process.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Owning and maintaining the development infrastructure for the LLVM CPU team
  • Collaborating with ARM compiler toolchain developers to validate their changes
  • Setting up and maintaining the development environment
  • Ensuring smooth execution of builds and tests
  • Providing support for the release process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on automation and tooling
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python
  • Experience with automation tools, build systems, and testing frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on automation and tooling
  • Experience with Linux operating system and shell scripting
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
