The successful candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Optometry or a related field, with significant experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. Your contributions will focus on enhancing the quality of education, fostering collaborative relationships with colleagues, and conducting impactful research that reflects positively on the institution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality lectures and demonstrations in optometry-related subjects.
  2. Develop curriculum content, instructional materials, and assessments.
  3. Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
  4. Contribute to departmental and institutional committees to promote collaboration and shared governance.
  5. Engage in scholarly research, publish papers in peer-reviewed journals, and present at conferences.
  6. Supervise graduate students, including those pursuing Master's or Ph.D.s.
  7. Collaborate with peers to develop interdisciplinary educational initiatives.
  8. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance pedagogical skills.
  9. Support student advising, mentorship, and career guidance.
  10. Assist in maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment.
