Software Development Engineer

We are looking for an experienced engineer to work on a small team focused on database products.
This role requires developing external customer-facing managed database products and contributing to the design and discussion on technical architecture.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience developing infrastructure and products from ideation to deployment, with a focus on backend engineering and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing distributed systems and APIs with Go Lang.
- Maintaining microservices within distributed systems and working knowledge of container workload engines and frameworks.
- Experience with resilience engineering, fault tolerance, and failure domains as they relate to database backends.
- Strong communication skills for conveying technical designs and code changes to other engineers, designers, and product teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience developing infrastructure and products from ideation to deployment, with a focus on backend engineering and services.
- A solid understanding of building and maintaining microservices within distributed systems.
- Working knowledge of microservices using container workload engines and frameworks such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with concurrency patterns in Golang.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and frameworks.
