We're seeking an accomplished software architect to lead our web development and mobile application design efforts.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and architecture, with a focus on designing and developing scalable, efficient, and secure systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Porting/migrating existing web applications to current industry standards, including design, SRA, development, support, modification/changes, and documentation.
  2. Designing and developing accompanying mobile applications to the web application, with options for cross-platform or native platform-specific development.
  3. Developing detailed software designs and documenting requirements, including conducting an SRA.
  4. Creating code with unit tests and conducting requirements testing.
  5. Deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting, bug-fixing, and providing support for web and mobile applications.
  6. Providing technical documentation of technical specifications, outlining variables, functions, and methods used, along with ERDs specifying database relations and step-by-step explanations of code.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field, with a mastery of programming, UI/UX design, software customization, and relevant skills.
  • At least 8 years of experience in software development, with 3+ years in a software architect/manager/team lead role.
  • Excellent development and architecture skills, with a solid grasp of web development and various internet technologies and tools.
  • Experience in databases, database design, optimization, and creating/maintaining ERDs.
  • Extensive experience deploying applications in the cloud (e.g., Amazon EC2 or Azure) and knowledge of object-oriented programming and software development life cycle best practices.
