About the Role

Giant Group is a workforce management platform and solutions provider committed to supporting businesses with compliant and efficient financial management services. As a Finance Associate, you will play a vital role in the organization's financial administration, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Journal Management: Prepare, maintain, and seek approval for payroll journals to be posted as per accounting standards and procedures.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable activities, ensuring all bill payments and customer invoicing are met as per deadlines.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Assist in the Bank Reconciliation process to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Revenue Reconciliation and Billing: Support revenue reconciliation and billing processes through maintaining schedules and reports.
  • Client Billing and Queries: Lead client billing and queries related to billing sent to the client.
  • Intercompany Invoicing: Raise relevant Intercompany invoices on a timely basis as per company needs.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you would ideally have a degree in finance with 1-2 years of work experience within a finance environment where you complied with financial accounting procedures and reconciliations. Experience within the IT service industry will be preferred.

  • Analytical Skillset: Possess significant analytical skills, strong quantitative abilities, high-level commercial acumen, and solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Influence and Interpersonal Skills: Strong influence and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel for pivot tables, and VLOOKUP is required.
