Site Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Site Installation Specialist to lead our team of engineers in ensuring seamless installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of our network infrastructure. This role involves overseeing site readiness, technical execution, documentation, and team performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Training, coaching, and supervising engineering teams on installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting practices.
• Verifying site readiness, survey data, and material delivery against project requirements.
• Ensuring strict compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinating with multiple stakeholders for smooth project delivery and identifying areas for improvement.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

• Strong expertise in Ericsson Transmission (Mini-Link TN, 20P/20PB/6P/MMU/6600 series).
• Knowledge of MW antennas (0.3m–1.2m+), configurations (1+0, 2+0, 2+2, 4+0, XPIC, VLAN, E-Band), installation, and troubleshooting.
• Radio experience: RBS 6000 installation, script loading, alarm clearance, and fault finding (2G/3G/LTE).
• Civil and site survey knowledge (TSSR, site planning, telecom installation standards).
• Bachelor's degree or Technical Trade Certification in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (NQF Level 4 or above).
• Minimum 5–10 years' experience in GSM field installation, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
