Assistant Manager, Finance and Accounts

This role is designed for an organization in the advertising industry, requiring a candidate with 3 years of experience in finance and accounting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation and finalization of annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain and update fixed assets depreciation schedules according to established capitalization policies.
  • Prepare comprehensive bank reconciliation statements to ensure accurate record-keeping and minimize discrepancies.
  • Conduct thorough debtor and creditor reconciliations, analyzing aging trends to inform cash flow decisions and optimize working capital.
  • Independently prepare and examine financial statements, adhering to statutory and professional requirements for audit purposes.
  • Collaborate with the audit manager to develop and finalize audit plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Verify the physical presence of inventory at year-end, accompanied by relevant documentation and records.
  • Develop and manage cash flow projections, forecasts, and budgeting processes to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
  • Forecast company accounts for leasing or loan purposes, providing accurate financial information and minimizing risk.
  • Perform data entry tasks within a computerized environment, maintaining data accuracy and integrity while optimizing productivity.
  • Prepare and submit income tax returns, calculating tax liabilities for diverse clients and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
