Job Title:

Web Development Director

About the Role:

This senior leadership position is focused on driving high-quality web application development and delivering business objectives. We are seeking an experienced director with a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design, architect, and implement scalable web solutions using modern technologies.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web architectures to support business growth.
  • Oversee code quality, conduct peer reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Mentor team members, conduct performance reviews, and set growth objectives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for stakeholders and collaborate with product managers to align technical decisions with business objectives.
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and Node.js.
  • Experience in MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS services including Lambda, APIGateway, S3, and CloudFormation.
  • Strong grasp of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of UX and design principles.
  • Scrum Master or Agile certification.
