Art Director for Environment and Experience

This position involves overseeing the quality and management of an environment-focused art team, with a focus on mission, direction, and cohesion. The ideal candidate will have experience leading high-performing teams in game development.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with product and design leads to develop an art strategy that supports Maps product and design goals.
- Lead and manage a multi-discipline art team, fostering a healthy and collaborative work environment.
- Cultivate relationships with Art Leadership across VALORANT to identify opportunities for cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders, such as the Creative Director and Product Art Director, to ensure alignment with game-level creative and art goals.
- Partner with other teams, like Publishing, to unify environment art expressions across media platforms.
- At least 5 years of experience leading environment-focused art teams in game development.
- Demonstrated ability to ship levels on at least one First Person Shooter project.
- Professional experience establishing art vision and strategy.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing art leads.
- Deep understanding of the VALORANT IP.
