Mechatronics Professor

About This Opportunity:

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as an Assistant Professor in Mechatronics Engineering. As a member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, conducting research, and contributing to the academic excellence of our institution.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position based in Rawalpindi at the College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (CoE&ME). The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lectures, assessing student work, and participating in departmental activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students
• Conducting research in mechatronics engineering and related fields
• Contributing to curriculum development and academic program improvement
• Participating in departmental activities and serving on committees as needed

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a PhD in Mechatronics / Electrical / Industrial / Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an HEC-recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates with specialization in PLCs and Industrial Automation / Robots, Dynamics and Control / Embedded Programming and Hardware Design or a related field. Candidates must also be PEC registered and able to register with PEC before joining if selected.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have a strong academic record with no less than a 3rd Division in their academic records
• Candidates must not be currently pursuing a required degree
• Candidates must be medically fit
• Candidates must obtain NOC from their Head of Institution if they are NUST employees with less than one year of service
