**Key Responsibilities of a Clinical Nurse**
">- Demonstrate safe handling and proper use of equipment/supplies;
- Conduct initial assessments for all out-patient after registration and thorough head-to-toe assessments on each assigned patient by utilizing functional health patterns and documenting findings comprehensively;
- Perform vital and anthropometric assessments;
- Complete rehabilitation assessments for all patients assigned in line with standard procedures;
- Identify patients' health teaching needs and incorporate these into rehabilitation care plans;
- Implement individualized programs of teaching with patients and families about the effects of delivering quality patient care and gaining their confidence;
- Provide high-quality, personalized, planned holistic nursing care to all assigned patients;
- Monitor, record, and update patients' vital and daily exercise progress in patient medical record files;
- Make appropriate interventions for the delivery of safe care to all patients using knowledge of rehabilitation procedures and protocols;
- Comply with department policies and organizational quality standards;
- Coordinate a holistic approach to meeting patients' medical, vocational, educational, and environmental needs;
- Act as a resource and role model for nursing staff and students and participate in activities and professional organizations that promote the improvement of nursing care and the advancement of professional rehab nurses;
**Requirements for the Clinical Nurse Position**
">- A Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BScN), Post-RN BScN degree or Diploma in Nursing;
- At least six months of work experience, with three years of experience preferred for Diploma holders;
- A valid license from the Pakistan Nursing Council;
- Certification in Basic Life Support, ACLS, PALS, NRP provider, Safe Medication Administration, and Intravenous Cannulation;
- The ability to assess, plan, and manage patient care with expertise as per protocols;
- Willingness to work flexible shifts;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication skills.
