About the Job

This is a full-time permanent position that requires expertise in IT infrastructure development. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in streamlining our development and operational processes.

Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with the DevOps team, administering Linux server instances, and managing cloud environments. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing monitoring systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and applying security best practices.

To succeed in this role, you should have a deep understanding of Linux fundamentals, scripting languages, and cloud platforms. Experience with AWS and Google Cloud Platform is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the DevOps team and software developers to ensure seamless code releases and service deployments.
  2. Administer and deploy Linux server instances remotely, maintaining optimal system performance.
  3. Manage cloud environments using AWS and Google Cloud Platform to ensure efficient resource utilization.
  4. Implement monitoring systems and practices to maintain 24x7 operational availability.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to system and application configurations swiftly.
  6. Utilize scripting languages to automate repetitive tasks and streamline workflows.
  7. Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as GitLab and Jenkins.
  8. Evaluate and enhance monitoring and logging processes, leveraging tools such as the ELK Stack.
  9. Apply security best practices to safeguard data and infrastructure against potential vulnerabilities.
  10. Maintain version control systems to ensure proper code management and collaboration.
  11. Provide support for system usage and application configuration troubleshooting.
  12. Stay updated on the latest DevOps trends and technologies to continuously improve practices.
