Job Description:

As a Passenger Service Systems Tester, you will be responsible for validating and testing airline Passenger Service Systems (PSS) processes. You will work closely with our QA team to ensure that our software meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. PSS Process Validation: Validate and test PSS processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  2. API Testing: Conduct manual and automated API testing to ensure seamless integration.
  3. Defect Management: Identify, document, and resolve defects efficiently.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with QA teams and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements:

  • Airline Domain Expertise: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in the airline domain.
  • Testing Proficiency: 5-8 years of software testing experience.
  • Defect Management: Proven ability to identify, document, and resolve defects efficiently.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong ability to work with QA teams and cross-functional teams.

Good-to-Have Skillsets:

  • Test Automation: Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium or Test Complete.
  • Performance Testing: Familiarity with JMeter for API-level performance testing.
  • Cross-Browser Testing: Experience with cloud-based testing tools like BrowserStack and Lambda Test.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Work Experience: Senior QA: 8-10 years of experience in software testing, including significant airline domain expertise (minimum 4 years); Junior QA: 6-8 years of experience, with at least 3 years in the airline domain.
  • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in website testing, functional testing, and API testing, experience in developing test cases and comprehensive documentation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for effective team collaboration.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities to address complex testing challenges.
