Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Product Expert to join our team. As a Digital Product Expert, you will be responsible for the development, management, and harmonization of commercial products, services, and processes within one or more segments. You will have end-to-end responsibility for the squad's activities, working closely with other experts to achieve the squad's mission.

Main Responsibilities
  • Apply profound product/service knowledge to develop and maintain an attractive and compliant value proposition and delivery excellence for customers.
  • Develop, manage, harmonize, and phase out customer processes of products and services, as well as everyday customer sales.
  • Deal with urgent incidents and improvement needs.
  • Propose and implement structural improvements to work processes based on improvement needs flagged up from within the touchpoint.
  • Contribute to all sprint events (planning, refinements, retrospectives, demos) using technical expertise and experience.
  • Analyze market and competition developments in areas such as cost price, market price, market share, legislation, and regulations.
  • Weigh the development of new products and services against procurement of possible sub-products.
  • Initiate customer research.
  • Design strategy in areas of products, channels, promotion, pricing, product, and process quality, aligned with brand policy and customer interests.
  • Translate strategy into practical policy and formulate product, process, and channel policy in accordance with internal and external legislation, aiming for maximum customer satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Implement this strategy, track squad progress, and adjust as necessary in your role as a product owner.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of banking experience or related project work experience, or demonstration of high-level understanding of the banking industry.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience gathering requirements and translating them into user requirements, data engineering, data science, or software engineering experience.
  • Background in engineering, technology, or UX preferred.
  • Experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager with software products.
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with comfort speaking with senior leaders.
  • Must be a strong collaborator, team player, and individual contributor.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Able to think strategically and tactically.
  • Brings energy and passion to the job, influencing those around you.
