Role Summary:

The Lead Manager – IT and Operational Risks position is responsible for ensuring the implementation of a robust risk management framework across IT and operational/technical departments.

This includes developing and communicating the organization's ERM Framework, objectives, and direction, providing guidance to achieve the desired ERM maturity model.

The successful candidate will implement the ERM Framework, Risk Culture, and recommend risk management policies, risk appetite, and risk limits to executive management.

Key responsibilities include establishing enterprise-wide risk assessments, monitoring priority risks, leading the information security program, implementing ISO 27001, advancing IT risk metrics and reports, assessing security controls and risks, and maintaining process and procedural documentation.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge and experience in information security, audit, risk management, compliance, or risk consulting, with the ability to provide insight and guidance to IT processes and projects.

They will also be able to arrange and conduct risk workshops, plan risk management-related awareness amongst IT and operational/technical departments, manage relationships with external consultants, supervise work programs, guide the IT function to undertake thorough information systems risk assessments, and plan training sessions and/or e-learning modules for risk management awareness.

Additional responsibilities include identifying and analyzing risks and risk indicators, assessing key risk areas, and providing feedback to departmental heads on steps needed to mitigate these risks.
