Overview
We are seeking a skilled Credentialing Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales and credentialing department, you will be responsible for promoting our credentialing services to healthcare providers and guiding them through the onboarding process.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound sales calls to healthcare providers to promote our credentialing services.
- Handle inbound inquiries and convert them into credentialing opportunities.
- Communicate the scope and benefits of our credentialing services to clients.
- Follow up with prospects regularly to move them through the sales pipeline.
- Prepare and send quotes/proposals, collect documents, and support initial onboarding of new clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field.
- 2–3 years of experience in credentialing, medical billing, sales, or client-facing roles within healthcare.
- Understanding of U.S. healthcare credentialing processes (CAQH, NPI, PECOS, payer enrollments).
