About the Position

We are excited to be expanding our engineering team in Pakistan. You will play a key role in building our brand through innovative web and native projects. The ideal candidate has prior experience in DeFi protocol development, excellent communication skills, business acumen, and a strong work ethic. We want someone with experience and passion for web3, smart contracts, and DeFi primitives.

  • Design, configure, and maintain our cloud infrastructure
  • Manage security features, including pipeline security, Docker images, and container scanning
  • Develop and maintain backend services, including virtual local area networks, authentication, and encryption
  • Work collaboratively with the larger DevOps team at Gala to achieve company-wide goals, as well as contribute directly to the team's success.
  • Implement and manage security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and security
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy new features and services
  • Monitor infrastructure and identify areas for improvement
Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud security, including identity and access management, secrets manager, EC2, and Lambda.
  • Experience managing security features, including pipeline security, Docker images, and container scanning
  • Professional experience with application-level security
  • Knowledge of backend services, including virtual local area networks, authentication, and encryption
  • Knowledge and experience with CDK, Kubernetes, Gitlab cicd, C#, NodeJs, and Python
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated, stellar work ethic, fun collaborator
