At Contour Software, we are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our R&D team. As part of this role, you will work collaboratively in a results-driven environment to ensure the smooth operation of our CAKE platform.

The successful candidate will possess strong system administration skills, including experience with cloud infrastructure, network knowledge, and debugging abilities. They will also be proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash, as well as having a solid understanding of web technologies like DNS, HTTP, and SSL.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage servers: configuration, management, patching (Windows/Linux).
  • Handle IIS Management and 3rd party Domain/SSL management.
  • Participate in on-call rotations.
  • Respond to system alerts and perform root cause analysis.
  • Maintain internal tickets for customer issues.
  • Troubleshoot databases and communicate constraints.
  • Document processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience; 2-3 years DevOps experience.
  • Minimum 2 years managing cloud infrastructure.
  • At least 3 years of system administration experience.
  • Knowledge of git, Linux, Windows Server, IP routing, ELB, CDN, VPC.
  • Scripting skills: shell, PowerShell, Python, Bash.
  • Web tech: DNS, HTTP, SSL.
  • Database knowledge: MS SQL, MySQL, Postgres.
