Assistant Manager Accounts Islamic Banking Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager Accounts Islamic Banking to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the computation and distribution of profit and loss to depositors, tracking and movement of financing/investment assets, and allocation of income and expenses.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assisting in the accurate computation and distribution of profit and loss to depositors ensuring Shariah principles alignment.
  • Supporting the tracking and movement of financing and investment assets ensuring records are accurately updated and maintained Asset Tagging and Management:
  • Helping tag financing and investment assets ensuring proper documentation and alignment with financial records.
  • Assisting in monitoring asset movement providing updates to senior team members as needed Income and Expense Allocation:
  • Supporting periodic allocation of income and expenses ensuring allocations are accurately recorded in compliance with internal policies.
  • Assisting in preparing and reconciling financial data for reporting purposes Collaboration with Shariah Compliance:
  • Assisting the Shariah Compliance Department reviewing calculations related to profit distribution ensuring Shariah compliance.
  • Helping audit and verify calculations ensuring all financial operations meet required standards Team Support:
  • Providing general support to the team assisting with day-to-day operations helping complete tasks within set deadlines.
  • Participating in team meetings contributing to discussions learning about Islamic banking practices improving knowledge of processes Process Improvement:
  • Helping identify recommend process improvements streamlining daily tasks increasing operational efficiency Ad Hoc Tasks:
  • Assisting with other tasks assignments directed by management contributing to overall success of the Islamic Banking team
