Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Executive to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who can take ownership of laboratory operations and contribute to the success of our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering, textiles, or a related field, with 1-2 years of relevant experience. A bachelor's degree is required, and an MSc in chemistry would be a significant asset.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth laboratory operations, following established SOPs, and improving lab-to-bulk success percentages. You will also monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as RFT/CQ, Dyehouse Lead time, and overall productivity.

You will work closely with the prescreener and technical manager to oversee pick face operations, manage recipe error files, and maintain SAP and Colour Stitch interfaces. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure seamless laboratory operations, adhering to established SOPs and guidelines.
  • Monitor KPIs, including RFT/CQ, Dyehouse Lead time, and overall productivity.
  • Manage recipe error files under the supervision of the prescreener.
  • Maintain and update SAP and Colour Stitch interfaces.
  • Oversee pick face operations, working closely with the prescreener and technical manager.
  • Conduct bulk recipe pass/fail tests, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
  • Maintain 6S/Housekeeping standards in the laboratory area.
  • Monitor and update dyeing machine stoppages in Colour Stitch.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, textiles, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Strong understanding of chemical processes and SOPs.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
